Workers Compensation
At Just Injury Lawyers, we specialise in workers’ compensation law to ensure you receive the maximum benefits you're entitled to if you have been injured at work.
Entitlements you may be eligible for include:
2. Weekly Payments
Weekly payments are payable when a worker is unfit for normal duties due to a work-related injury. For the first 13 weeks you receive 95% of your pre-injury average weekly earnings and 80% from 14 to 130 weeks.
1. Medical and Like Expenses
All medical services and treatments that are reasonable and related to the workplace injury, such as doctors, medications, physiotherapy and surgery.
3. Impairment Benefit
An impairment benefit is a once-off lump sum payment. You must wait until at least 12 months after the date of your injury and once your condition is stable.
4. Common Law Damages
If a worker sustains a serious injury, they may be entitled to lump sum compensation for Pain & Suffering and Economic Loss if the employer and/or a third party was at fault for the injury.
